Just found out my 'organic' produce might have been sitting in a warehouse for 3 weeks before I bought it
I was looking into that fancy farm-to-table delivery service last week and read a study that said most grocery store organic stuff is stored for 15 to 25 days before hitting the shelf. Like, what's even the point of paying double if it's already half-rotting by the time I bring it home? I asked the produce guy at my local Kroger about it and he just shrugged. Has anyone else looked into where their veggies are actually coming from?

Man that's wild... I had the same thing happen with my "fresh" greens last week.

My buddy used to work at a Whole Foods and he told me they'd stamp the "harvested yesterday" stickers on boxes of kale that had been sitting in the back for over a week. He quit after a month.
