Serious question, does anyone else regret the $250 they dropped on a bread machine that just sits there?
Bought a Zojirushi back in March thinking I'd bake weekly, used it 4 times, and now it's a $250 counter weight, so I'm curious if anyone actually stuck with theirs or if we all just bought fancy flour storage.
My mom had one of those bread machines in the 90s and it lived in the garage next to the Ab Roller and the pasta maker, so this is a proud family tradition you're carrying on. The one thing she actually used it for was making pizza dough, and she swore it was worth it just for that. No mixing, no flour on the ceiling, just dump stuff in and come back to a ball of dough. Maybe that's your ticket out of counter weight status. Or you could just accept your fate and start storing the flour in it like the rest of us.
