The drive thru speaker screamed at me and my order still came out wrong

Went to the Wendy's off I-35 in Norman last Tuesday around 7pm. The speaker was garbage, static and garbled, and the guy inside just kept yelling "WHAT?" at me. I repeated my order 4 times, he finally said ok. Got to the window, paid $11.50, drove off. Got home and opened the bag. They gave me a baked potato with extra sour cream instead of my bacon double. I was too tired to drive back. Ended up scraping the sour cream off and eating it plain. Has anyone else just given up and eaten the wrong food because going back felt worse?

That baked potato with extra sour cream is actually the real tragedy here. Nobody orders a baked potato with extra sour cream by accident unless they specifically want to feel betrayed by both Wendy's and their own digestive system. But here's the thing nobody's mentioning: you paid $11.50 for a bacon double and got a potato, that's a $5 difference at most, so you basically funded their mistake with your own money and then ate it anyway. That's not patience, that's a hostage situation where the food is the hostage and you're the one paying ransom.
