Unpopular opinion: people keep saying you need to 'write for the algorithm' first
I was helping my friend with her small business blog last week, and she kept asking me about keyword density instead of if the post was helpful. She read some article that said to use a phrase like 'best coffee shop in Austin' at least five times. It makes the writing sound so fake and robotic. How do you even get people to trust you if your post doesn't sound like a real person wrote it? Has anyone else tried to explain that good writing for people IS good for SEO?

How do you even get readers to stick around if your post sounds like a robot wrote it? I tell people to just answer the question someone actually typed into Google. If someone searches "best coffee shop in Austin," they want a real answer, not that phrase repeated five times. Good, clear writing that helps people will always beat keyword stuffing.

But what if the real answer is just a list of names? How do you make that actually useful?
