Warning: tried pressure washing my driveway with just water and got the worst results

I used a cheap electric pressure washer on my driveway last Saturday with just water, thinking it would blast off the oil stains from my old truck. Instead, it just pushed the grime around and left a patchy mess that looks worse than before. Has anyone else found that you need a specific detergent or setting to actually clean concrete right?

I saw some guy on YouTube using a pressure washer attachment with a degreaser and it looked way easier than scrubbing by hand. Might be worth looking into if you're stuck with a crappy machine like most of us.
