Weirdest Tuesday ever at the laundromat, power went out right as my dryer cycle hit zero

So last week I'm at the 24hr laundromat on Grand Ave, got 3 loads going and the place is packed. Right as the dryer display counts down to 0, the whole block loses power, no warning, just dark. People started grabbing wet clothes, but I stood there like an idiot for 5 minutes holding my phone flashlight on my machine, waiting for it to finish. When power came back, my clothes were still damp and I had to pay another $1.75 to rerun it. Has anyone else had a machine screw you over at the exact worst second, or is it just my luck?
