A lead drafter's note about my hatch patterns changed everything
Last Tuesday, a lead drafter I work with glanced at my electrical plan and said, "Your hatches are too busy, they fight the linework." I had been using dense diagonal fills for everything. He showed me how to drop opacity and widen the spacing in AutoCAD. It took me 10 minutes to adjust my template, and now the whole sheet reads clearer. Has anyone else gotten feedback on a small setting that made a big difference in their drawings?

Heard that same thing years ago about my dimension styles, someone told me my arrows were too big and it was drowning the whole sheet. Spent an afternoon trimming them down and suddenly the drawings looked almost clean, like a different person did them. Funny how a tiny default can wreck a whole set of plans.
