Dropped $150 on a cheap drafting table from Amazon. Huge mistake.

I thought I was being smart saving money on a drafting table. Found one on Amazon for $150, looked fine in the pictures. Got it set up in my basement and within a week the surface was already warping. My T-square wouldn't sit flat on the right side. Tried shimming the legs but the damage was done. Ended up buying a used Alvin from a guy on Craigslist for $200. That thing is solid as a rock and has a real wood top. Should have just skipped the cheap one and went straight for the used quality. Anyone else get burned by those budget tables on Amazon?

What did the warping actually look like, was it a dip or a bulge?

Was it a dip or a bulge" - my buddy Dave had a lease on a 2014 Dodge Dart, not even the SRT, and the hood would actually warp upwards at highway speeds like a speed bump. Seriously @finley_wells66, he pulled over once and watched it slowly pop back down like a plastic lid in the sun.
