Finally got that weird section view for a custom bracket to work after three days of trial and error.

I was trying to show the internal ribbing on a client's custom aluminum bracket and kept getting the hatch pattern to fill the wrong areas, which took me three days of messing with UCS settings and view clipping to finally get a clean, readable drawing. Has anyone else had a section view just fight them for no good reason?

Ugh, three days on a hatch pattern sounds like pure pain. I've totally been there where the software just decides to fight you on something that should be simple. @the_nora is right, they really are the worst. Was it one specific setting that finally clicked for you, or did you just have to brute force it with a totally new view?
