Got a $3 divider wall from a salvage shop, saved my whole layering setup

My layer manager kept flipping between AutoCAD and Civil 3D settings, wasting an hour each job. I grabbed a cheap metal divider wall from a Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Austin, and now I keep printed viewport cheat sheets clipped to it for quick reference. Anyone else use physical desk hacks to cut down on screen flipping?

wait, an hour each job just flipping between layer states? that sounds less like a software problem and more like a memory thing. i've got a post-it note with the three layer names i actually use and it took me five minutes to set up. printed cheat sheets clipped to a metal divider feels like you're building a shrine to your own workflow. you could also just save a layer state preset in the tool palette and skip the whole physical setup, but i guess if the divider makes you feel organized then sure, go for it.
