Had a killer drafting week after months of slow work
I nailed 3 sets of plans for a residential project in Arlington this week and my lead drafter actually said 'this is clean work'. Been stuck on revisions for weeks so it felt good to finally get a full set approved with just one markup. Anybody else have seasons where everything just clicks out of nowhere?

Second set of plans you posted looks solid not gonna lie but week 1 of a project is basically the honeymoon phase man. I've been burned too many times by clients who love the first draft then come back with 47 changes after the structural engineer gets involved. Three sets in a week is definitely a win for your portfolio but the real test is how those plans hold up during permit review not just your lead drafter giving props. Arlington has some weird zoning quirks too so you might be looking at revisions from the city planning office a month from now. I get the high though just saying don't let the good vibes trick you into thinking this project is done.

Is @cole_hall hinting at the Arlington setback rule that caught me off guard last year?

Oh god yes lmao Arlington is a nightmare with that stuff. I had a project stuck in review for three months over a setback that wasn't even on the first two drafts.
