Overheard a contractor in Milwaukee call a blueprint a 'roadmap for arguments'
I was grabbing coffee near a site and heard a foreman tell his crew that a good set of drawings isn't just for building, it's to settle disputes before they start. It made me realize how much of our job is about clear communication, not just lines. How do you make sure your details are argument-proof?

My buddy had a whole wall get framed wrong because the detail was fuzzy. I mean, now he draws every single corner connection like he's explaining it to a new guy. It just saves so much hassle later on.

My old apartment lease was 30 pages of legal jargon. I spent two hours trying to figure out if I could hang a picture. Now I see this everywhere, from confusing software updates to those weird furniture instructions. When people skip the simple explanation, it just creates more work for everyone down the line. Your buddy gets it.
