Pro tip: My first drafting table had a 2-inch wobble I ignored for 6 months

I picked up this used drafting table off Craigslist in Denver for $40 last year. The left leg was a little short so I just jammed a folded business card under it. After 6 months of fighting crooked lines and getting frustrated, I finally took 10 minutes to unscrew the leg and cut a proper shim. Has anyone else dealt with some janky setup they put up with way too long?

Funny how we'll live with little annoyances forever until we just fix them and wonder why we waited. Makes you think about all the other stuff in life we put up with that could be solved in ten minutes.
