PSA: I keep seeing drafters skip the 'check units' step before sending files to the shop floor.

Some guys say it's the machinist's job to catch it, but a wrong decimal place on a 6061 aluminum part can scrap $500 in material in minutes. Which side are you on?

My cousin's office has a swear jar that funds their monthly pizza party. It's crazy how these little rules end up costing more than the original mistake.

My old shop had a rule where you bought donuts for the crew if you crashed a machine. The foreman ate so many free glazed he started calling them "oops fees." It was a surprisingly good way to make people double-check their work.
