Switched my mind about digital drafting after a busted pencil sharpener incident

I've been a die-hard manual drafter for like 15 years, pencil and paper only. But last Tuesday my old sharpener jammed right in the middle of a floor plan for a 4,000 sq ft house in Greenville. I found an article on the Drafters forum from last month that showed how a guy cut his revision time by 60% using AutoCAD layers. Tried it on that same plan and finished the redlines in about 45 minutes instead of 3 hours. Has anyone else here had a similar switch after a frustrating day with traditional tools?

Nah @kai657, a broken sharpener just gave me an excuse to try something new.
