That Thursday where my pencil lead kept breaking every 10 minutes

Had a day last week where I went through 12 pieces of 0.5mm lead in about 3 hours on a big floor plan revision. Tried adjusting my pressure and even switched to a different brand of lead, but nothing worked. Has anyone else hit a weird streak like that where your tools just fight you the whole shift?

Man I feel that, my lead was snapping like crazy on a drawing last Tuesday... finally just grabbed a wooden pencil out of frustration.

Yeah, come on, @derek_brown28, is snapping lead really worth that much frustration? A wooden pencil isn't exactly a sacred tool, it's just a stick with some graphite in it. Seems like you just wanted an excuse to grab the old standby.
