Finally got my cutterhead pressure right after 6 months of trial and error
I was running my 12 inch suction dredge too aggressive and kept getting cavitation at the intake. Started keeping a log of each day's settings and noticed my vacuum gauge was reading 28 inches when it should have been around 22. Dialed it back 15% on the throttle and matched my swing speed to the material. Now I'm pulling 30% more solids per hour without bogging down. Anyone else find a specific gauge reading that works best for their setup?

Oh my, that's exactly how I finally got my old washing machine to stop shaking across the floor after years of fussing with it.

Gotta admit, I used to think leveling feet were just for show, but @finley_wells66 this post finally got me to actually mess with mine and the difference is night and day.
