Rant: Tried a spud bar vs a regular shovel for clearing a clogged intake pipe near Baton Rouge last month

The shovel just slid off the packed sand and mud but that spud bar bit right in and broke it loose in under 10 minutes. Has anyone else found a weird tool that outworks the standard stuff on your rig?

lol @kim_hart7 wait till you hear the sound it makes when you finally pop that rock loose. its like a cross between a shovel hitting concrete and someone cracking their knuckles really hard. definitely gave me a jump the first time i did it.

Three feet down in rocky clay and that bar slipped like butter into a crack. I swear the ground let out a low groan before the rock finally gave. Made me check over my shoulder twice for a zombie or something. Gardening equipment should not sound like a horror movie sound effect, but here we are.
