Shoutout to the crew on the Columbia River last fall. A snapped suction line taught me to always double-check the winch pressure gauge.

Learned that the hard way too. I just started doing a visual check on the line before the final pull now.

Yeah, same here. I started doing a quick double-check with my phone's flashlight, just to be sure. It's saved me a couple times already.
