Switched from straight cable to braided for our main pump line, night and day

We had a 6-inch straight discharge hose on our 8-inch Ellicott for two seasons and it kinked every time we swung more than 30 degrees. Swapped to a braided rubber section this spring after my buddy at the yard recommended it. The braided stuff doesn't collapse nearly as bad when the pressure drops, plus it swings way smoother. Has anyone else tried the nylon reinforced stuff or is braided the way to go?

Heard braided handles the pressure swings way better than straight rubber.

Tried nylon reinforced on our 10-inch and it frayed within a month, stick with braided.
