A school remodel in Austin fixed my taping stance forever
Last spring I got on this big high school job and the GC had these weird scaffold planks, way wider than I'm used to. First day I kept bending sideways to reach the screws and my back was screaming by noon. An old finisher on the crew laughed and made me square my hips to the wall, knees soft, like a boxer stance. That simple change cut my finish time on each board by maybe 15 minutes and I stopped fighting the ladder. Have any of you tweaked your footwork on a job and seen a big jump in speed or less pain?
