Had a client in Austin ask for a smooth finish on a ceiling with 16 foot vaults, no scaffolding.

Last week, my partner said to just use stilts and a long pole, but I argued for renting a lift, even though it added a day's cost. The lift got it done in half the time with zero neck strain. How do you guys handle those crazy high ceilings?

My cousin tried the stilt method on a 9-foot popcorn ceiling removal and ended up with a slipped disk. The chiropractor bills made that lift look free. Sometimes the right tool is just the one that lets you walk the next day, you know?
