That magnetic drywall lifter I was skeptical about is actually legit

My buddy Mike from Phoenix swore by this thing for months and I kept telling him it was just another gimmick. Finally broke down and bought one after I threw my back out for the third time last November on a 12-foot ceiling job. Honestly it saves me at least 20 minutes per sheet when I'm working solo, which adds up fast on a 50 sheet job. No more fighting to wedge a T-bar under the edge or having a sheet fall off halfway up. If you do a lot of ceilings by yourself, it's worth the 60 bucks just for the back pain savings alone. Anyone else tried one of these or got a better trick for solo ceiling work?

Dropped a sheet on my head last week trying to be clever with a T-bar, so yeah maybe it's time I stop being stubborn and just buy the dang thing.

Yeah, the T-bar trick works until it doesn't... I switched to a drywall lift years ago after a 4x12 panel buckled on me. Best $200 I ever spent, no more bruised shoulders.
