Tree work in July is a whole different kind of misery. I remember one job last summer trimming oaks in a backyard with zero shade, just black asphalt baking the heat right back up at you. By 10am my shirt was stuck to me like a second skin and I think I went through three bottles of water before lunch. It's the kind of heat that makes you question every life choice that led you to that moment.
