Had to choose between a stuck elevator and a very full coffee cup

Got a call for a door issue on a 15 story building downtown. When I got there, the car was stuck about 6 inches above the landing, and the doors wouldn't close. My problem was I had just bought a huge coffee and really needed it. I had to pick: set the cup down on the dirty floor or try to hold it while I worked. I chose to hold it, which was dumb. I ended up bumping it with my elbow while reaching for a tool and spilled half of it right into the pit. Took me an extra 30 minutes to clean up the mess. Anyone else ever make a simple choice that totally backfired on a job?

My last oil change I tried to balance my phone on the tire to watch a video and it slid right into the drain pan.
