Just spent 5 hours tracking down an intermittent door lock fault that was a loose screw all along
Had an Otis Elevonic 401 that kept throwing a door zone fault maybe once every 30 cycles. Pulled the door locks, checked all the wiring, even swapped the logic board. After 5 hours I was about to call it a quirk, then I noticed the lock roller had a screw backing out just 2 turns. Tightened it and the fault vanished. Has anyone else had a ghost issue that turned out to be something dead simple like that?

Man that is so frustrtating. I feel your pain man, been there more times than I care to count. Had a freezer case at this grocery store that would randomly stop cooling maybe twice a week. I replaced the whole controller board before just noticing the door gasket was slightly folded letting in warm air. Wasted a solid shift on that one. It’s always the dumb little stuff that gets you.

Door gaskets man. @emmam67 you're not wrong. Had a walk in cooler at a restaurant driving me crazy. Kept frosting up bad. Everyone said it was the defrost timer. Changed it twice. Turned out the drain line was just clogged with some gunk. Water was sitting in there freezing solid. Felt like an idiot after pulling my hair out for three days.
