Saw a new cable management trick at a hospital in Denver

I was doing a service call at St. Joseph's last Tuesday and noticed their elevator hoistway cables were all running through these plastic spiral wraps instead of loose. It made troubleshooting way easier since nothing was tangled. Has anyone else tried these wraps on a busy job?

Man, I tried those spiral wraps once and ended up with a loop around my own ankle before I even got the first cable sorted. They work great... as long as you don't trip yourself into the hoistway while putting them on. Still better than the tangled mess I usually deal with though.

Trip over it once and you learn real fast to install those things sitting down, @dylanh97. At least you got a story out of it instead of just another tangled rat's nest under the desk.
