Appreciation post: I'm still mad about 'The OA' getting axed after two seasons
I spent a solid month after the cancelation reading fan theories about what the planned five-season story would have been, especially that wild dimension-hopping cliffhanger. Anyone else have a show where the unfinished plot still bugs you years later?

Oh man, that "wild dimension-hopping cliffhanger" is exactly the kind of thing that leaves a mark. What helped me move on from a canceled show was finding the writers or creators on social media and looking for their old interviews. Sometimes they'll drop hints about their plans just to give fans some closure. It's not the same as seeing it, but knowing the general direction can stop your brain from spinning theories forever.

Closure is nice but it's just a TV show, right? Not like we're solving world hunger here.

Absolutely, tracking down those creator interviews is a great idea. I did that when my favorite show got axed years ago, and hearing the planned ending finally let me stop rewatching the last episode. It really does help put the story to rest.
