Hit 100 episodes of Freaks and Geeks and it still stings they canceled it after 18

I finally binged all of Freaks and Geeks last month and man, that show had so much more to give. It’s wild that NBC pulled the plug after just 18 episodes. I mean, that cast alone was stacked with future stars like James Franco and Seth Rogen. The way it ended with Lindsay joining the freaks felt like the start of something bigger, not a finale. I wanted to see her figure out that whole mathlete versus rebel thing. And Bill’s story with his mom dating the coach? That was just getting good. Has anyone else rewatched it lately and felt robbed of what season 2 could have been?

Nah, the ending felt right. That show knew exactly when to quit.

Used to think they wrapped it up just fine myself, but @king.aaron your comment actually flipped a switch for me. Rewatching it now, I see how much potential was left on the table. Lindsay finally making that choice to hang with the freaks felt like a beginning, not an ending. And Bill's whole arc with his mom dating the coach had so many directions it could go. Definitely feels like we got robbed of some killer stories in season 2.
