I thought 'Firefly' was just another space show until my friend made me watch it

My buddy kept telling me to watch 'Firefly' for like a year, and I finally gave in last month. I was totally wrong to doubt it, the mix of western and sci-fi just worked. It's a crime it only got 14 episodes and a movie. I really wanted to see more about Shepherd Book's past and how the Alliance would finally fall. What other canceled show made you change your mind after watching it?
