Just realized how much more story the show "The Society" had locked up before Netflix pulled the plug

I was driving through a small town in upstate New York last month that looked exactly like the set and it hit me all over again how much we missed out on seeing where those kids would have taken that whole new government setup.

yeah and that's the thing that killed me about it getting canceled, @grant826 they had this whole system where the kids basically set up a democratic council at first but then it got all complicated with the "court" thing where one girl got banished lol. honestly the way they handled the food and resource distribution was the most realistic part for me because you could see how fast it broke down once people started forming little cliques and hoarding stuff. i remember thinking how smart it was that they showed the naive "we'll just vote on everything" phase and then slowly watching them realize you need actual enforcement and hard rules. that town you drove through sounds wild btw, i bet it was eerie seeing it in real life knowing what went down on that show.
