Rant: I'm glad 'Firefly' got canceled when it did
I know this is a hot take here, but I think 'Firefly' going out after one season was for the best. I bought the whole DVD box set for $40 back in the day, and I felt like I wasted my money. The show had a cool setting, but the stories were all over the place. One week it was a heist, the next a weird western, and it never settled on what it wanted to be. The characters were fun, but the plot holes were huge. If it had kept going, I think it would have gotten messy and lost its charm. The movie 'Serenity' already tried to tie up the big story and it felt rushed. Sometimes a short run is better than a long, slow drop in quality. Does anyone else feel like some shows are better off as a 'what if'?

See this with so many things, like that great restaurant that gets too popular and changes.

Ever notice how people do this too? I get way too confident when a new hobby goes well and immediately ruin it by buying all the gear.

Buying gear is just fun, lunam91, not some big crime.
