The friend who told me to skip the last season of The Glades was so right

My buddy Mark kept saying the show ended on a cliffhanger that never gets resolved, so just pretend the finale doesnt exist. I finally caught up on Hulu last month and watched the canceled season 4 opener anyway. Worst 42 minutes of my week, he was absolutely right. Did anyone else get burned by a network killing a show right when the main story was heating up without any warning?

Caught an interview with the showrunner once who said they had a five season plan mapped out, so the cancellation blindsided the whole writing room too. @park.riley can back me up that these networks just yank the plug without a second thought. Mark's advice was solid, nobody should sit through that dangling mess.
