Went to a local blanket drive and it crashed my whole idea about giving back
I showed up at the old rec center in Trenton last December to drop off coats, and they turned me away because I brought the wrong type of donation. Has anyone else run into strict rules at charity events that made you rethink how you help out?

Wait, they turned you away for bringing the "wrong" kind of coat? That sounds off, most drives are desperate for any warm stuff. I'd double check if that was a miscommunication or someone just having a bad day, not the norm.
