Why does everyone say My Name Is Earl deserved revival but not Raising Hope?

I keep seeing people beg for an Earl comeback but nobody mentions Raising Hope which was way more consistent. Earl had that cliffhanger sure but Raising Hope had 4 full seasons of solid jokes that never got stale. I timed it once and the first season of Raising Hope has a joke every 30 seconds minimum. Why does the darker show get all the love while the sweeter one gets forgotten? Am I the only one who thinks Greg Garcia's second show was actually his best work?

My favorite thing about Raising Hope was how it balanced being funny and heartfelt without trying too hard. That scene where Jimmy learns to change a diaper while his whole family yells advice from the kitchen still cracks me up today. Earl was good but Raising Hope felt more real and that's why I'm always team Hope when these threads pop up.

Nah man I gotta disagree here. Raising Hope was good but it got way too predictable after season 2 with the same "Jimmy does something dumb, Virginia yells at him, Maw Maw does something crazy" cycle. Earl had actual character growth and the whole karma concept let them explore way more interesting stories. Plus the cliffhanger matters - people want closure, and a show that ends properly doesn't leave folks hanging the same way.
