Ditched my messy spreadsheet for a cheap CRM and it finally clicked

Honestly, I used to track all my freelance leads in a Google Sheet with like 12 columns. It worked okay until I missed a follow-up on a $2,000 project from a guy in Phoenix last month. Switched to a $15/month CRM tool three weeks ago, and now I see every email and call logged automatically. Has anyone else found that a simple system beats trying to manage everything in your head or a doc?
