Pro tip: my old way of networking versus my new way after a weird coffee shop meetup

I used to just go to big, general business mixers and collect a stack of cards. Last week, I went to a tiny meetup for app developers at a place called The Grind in Austin. I got three solid project leads from that one hour, way better than the big events. Anyone else find small, niche groups work better for them?

Small groups can be good, but I've found bigger classes actually push me more.

Lucas_mitchell14 is making this sound like a life or death choice.
