Thought those mastermind groups were just hype until I joined one in Austin

A friend kept pushing me to try this monthly meetup for local founders, and I went in thinking it would be a waste of time. After three meetings, the advice I got on my pricing model from a guy who runs a software company saved me about $12,000 in potential lost revenue. Has anyone else had a network group completely change their mind on something?

Saved me about $12,000" sounds great, but honestly that could just be luck... I've been to a few of those and it was mostly people talking just to hear themselves talk. Felt like a big waste of an afternoon.

Totally get that some groups can be all talk. The one I'm in actually holds us to account on real goals, which made a huge difference for me.

Hit the nail on the head about accountability. My group makes us post our specific numbers every week, and it's the only reason I actually stuck to a plan.
