Finally fixed my ultrasonic cleaner after 3 weeks of guessing

I had a stubborn residue issue on my extraction tools that just would not budge. Turned out my ultrasonic cleaner was running at the wrong temp setting for months. Swapped the heating element and it only took 15 minutes once I actually looked at the manual. Has anyone else dealt with a cleaner that just stopped working right for no obvious reason?

3 weeks of guessing" - at least you got there eventually, right? I spent a month trying to figure out why my cleaner was leaving everything covered in white spots before I realized I was using the wrong kind of water. Tap water with a lot of minerals will mess your stuff up and leave crusty deposits everywhere. The manual for these things is usually trash but I guess sometimes it actually has useful info buried in there.

3 weeks of guessing" - yeah that's rough. I feel your pain @jasonc50, I had the same issue with my coffee maker leaving weird residue until someone told me to use filtered water. These manuals are impossible to read, but I guess the one sentence that matters is always buried on page 32 or something.
