My client insisted on a 'natural' avocado mask and we ended up with a green tile disaster

She brought in a whole avocado, I blended it with some honey, and it splattered everywhere when the machine turned on, leaving permanent green spots on my ceiling. Anyone have a good tile cleaner recommendation for organic food stains?

Oh wow, that sounds like a total nightmare... I can just picture the green spray everywhere. Avocado is so stubborn, it's like it stains on purpose. I had a similar thing happen with a smoothie explosion once, and the stain never really came out. For tiles, maybe try a paste of baking soda and water first, let it sit for a while before you scrub. Good luck, that's a rough one to deal with.

Ugh, baking soda is a lifesaver. I swear by it for everything. Got red wine out of my carpet with that and some dish soap. The key is to let it sit long enough to really soak up the mess, like at least 30 minutes. Then you gotta scrub hard, but it usually works.

Brooke you are so right about letting it sit long enough. I messed up once with coffee on my light beige carpet and scrubbed too fast, totally spread the stain. Had to learn the hard way that patience matters way more than elbow grease. That 30 minute soak is everything, I even set a timer now. Also dish soap is such an underrated trick, I mix it with hydrogen peroxide for tougher stuff. Glad your wine stain came out, that stuff is brutal.
