Picked up a tip from a dermatologist's office last week

I was waiting for my appointment and the lead esthetician there was talking about how she uses a LED panel for 20 minutes before extractions. She said it softens the skin enough that she barely has to press. I tried it on two clients Tuesday and it really cut down on redness after. Has anyone else tried this timing trick with LED?

Used the same trick myself after a facial training class last year. Definitely noticed less swelling and a quicker recovery time on my clients.

Barely has to press"... wow, I mean... I didn't think LED could do that much. I've used panels for anti-aging stuff but never thought to time it like that for extractions. That's wild to me, honestly. I've had clients where I'm pressing way too hard and they're all red and puffy after. If a 20 minute soak under a light before could change that, I'd be all over it.
