Remember when those crystal facial rollers were the big thing?

I bought a fancy jade one for $75 back in 2019, thinking it was a must-have tool. Honestly, it just sits in a drawer now while my hands and a good serum do the real work. Anyone else have a trendy tool they regret buying?

My bathroom drawer is a graveyard for these single-use gadgets. We keep buying the promise of a quick fix instead of just sticking with what works. It's like we're paying for hope in a fancy box.

Exactly what is the real difference between that old moisturizer and all these high tech gadgets? The marketing makes you feel like you need a science lab in your bathroom when a basic routine probably does the job. Has anyone here actually found one of these gadgets that was worth more than the drawer space it took up?

Ugh, YES, I feel this so hard. Remember those at-home microcurrent wands that were EVERYWHERE? I dropped over a hundred bucks on one, convinced it would be my facelift in a box. The charging cord is lost forever and I used it maybe twice. It felt like a weird tiny taser for my face. My trusty moisturizer works way better and doesn't need batteries.
