Stopped doing extractions for 3 months and my clients skin got better

I used to think extractions were the key to clear skin, but I tried holding off on them for a full 3 months with 10 regular clients at my shop in Austin. Every single one of them had less redness and fewer breakouts by the end. Has anyone else tested ditching extractions for a while?

My friend in San Antonio tried the same thing last year and her clients' skin calmed down way more than when she was doing extractions every visit. She was honestly shocked that stopping actually helped. Did you notice any difference in how long the results lasted after those 3 months?

Admit I used to think extractions were the only way to really clean out pores, you know? I was totally that person who would push for them every visit. Then I tried cutting way back after reading about it, and yeah, my clients' skin stayed calmer and the breakouts didn't bounce back as fast. The results from the facials just seemed to stick around longer because I wasn't irritating everything in the process. It honestly took me a few months to trust that less was more, but now I'm a full convert. Feels weird to say stopping something helped more, but it really did.
