Thinking back to the week my entire booking system crashed right before prom season
It was about five years ago, and I was still using a paper appointment book. My pen leaked all over it on a Tuesday, smudging two weeks of bookings. I spent the next three days calling every single client from memory, which was over 60 people. The funny thing is, that mess forced me to finally learn a digital booking app, something I'd been putting off for months. Now I can't imagine running my little booth without it. What's the biggest tech fail that actually pushed you to upgrade your own setup?

Sometimes the old ways are still the best ways.

Yeah @lee627 hit it with that line. I used to be all about the new stuff thinking anything old was just outdated or broken. But a couple years back I got into fixing up my grandpa's old tools and honestly they just work better than half the junk I buy now. That "old ways are still the best" thing really clicked for me when I realized how much thought and care went into stuff back then compared to now. It made me slow down and actually appreciate things that have been proven over time. I still like new ideas but I don't dismiss the old stuff nearly as fast anymore.
