Tried LED therapy masks vs a full panel setup and one blew the other out of the water
I spent 6 months using a name brand LED mask for my clients and saw okay results. Then I swapped to a big full face panel from a medical supply place and the difference was night and day for acne and redness in just 3 weeks. Has anyone else switched from masks to panels and noticed a bigger change?

Well that is wild to me. Three weeks versus six months is a huge difference, honestly shocking. I would have thought the masks were just as good since they sit right on the face too. But I guess the panel covering your whole face at once and maybe having stronger lights makes sense when you think about it. I'm pretty surprised the mask took that long and didn't do half as much. That really makes me wonder if those fancy masks are worth the money at all.

Respectfully, I see it a little different. The mask I use has like 200+ LEDs packed close together, so the coverage is way more intense per square inch than even a big panel that's sitting a few inches away from your face. Also, most panels I've seen have a lower concentration of red or near-infrared light, they're more spread out. The mask takes longer because the dosage is lower and you're doing smaller areas, but that doesn't mean the mask is worse, it just means you have to be patient. Plus with a mask you can walk around doing dishes or whatever, you're not stuck sitting in front of a panel like a weirdo. Different tools for different jobs.
