Found a wallet at the laundromat on 5th Street with $60 in it
Last Tuesday I found a brown leather wallet sitting on top of a dryer at the 24-hour laundromat on 5th Street. It had $60 cash and a library card inside, but no phone number to call. I ended up leaving a note on the bulletin board with my number - did I do enough or should I have turned it into the lost and found?

Honestly, I once found a phone at a bus stop and spent like two hours trying to figure out the passcode by guessing birthdays from their lock screen wallpaper. It was a picture of a dog, so no luck. But the note on the bulletin board is actually a solid move, way better than just leaving it at the counter where some random employee could just pocket the cash. Tbh, I bet the person will see your note and call you, especially since you left your number. Ngl, you probably did more than most people would do, most folks would just ignore it or take the money.

lol totally been there, I once tried cracking a phone password for a solid hour using random birthdays from their FB profile pic.
