Heard a woman at the coffee shop say she never returns her shopping cart
She said it's because the store pays people to do it, and honestly that logic made me mad because not returning a cart is basically saying your time matters more than the employee's. Has anyone else ever heard someone defend not returning a cart and if so, what did you say?

Ah man, I had a coworker who tried that same excuse once. I told her the cart return is actually faster than leaving it in the lot and there's no chance of scratching someone's car. She never argued again after that.
