My buddy called me out for grabbing the last cart in the parking lot

I was at the grocery store in Columbus last Tuesday and it was pouring rain. I saw an old lady walking toward the cart corral as I grabbed the last one. My friend Dave said "really man?" and just stood there waiting. It hit me different because he didn't yell or make a scene, just that quiet question. Has anyone else had a friend call them out on something small that made you actually change what you do?

Starts making you wonder how many small moments like that we just miss noticing every day.

Wait, you mean we miss this stuff constantly? That's actually kind of freaking me out. Just yesterday I walked right past a neighbor's cat sitting on a wall and didn't even see it until they waved. Makes you wonder how many other tiny things slip by while we're glued to our phones or lost in our own heads. Crazy to think what else is happening right under our noses.
