My coworker called me out for always taking the last coffee pod.
She just said, 'You know, someone else might want that.' It was a small thing, but it made me think about all the tiny ways I grab stuff first. Do you ever notice yourself doing that without thinking?

My friend Mark used to always snag the last parking spot right by the office door. One day he saw a new mom struggling with a stroller in the rain, stuck way out in the lot. He said that image stuck with him. Now he leaves that close spot open without even thinking about it. It's funny how a small shift in perspective can change those automatic habits.
