Rant: My neighbor's package sat on my porch for two days

It was addressed to them but delivered to my house by mistake last Thursday. I was busy and kept forgetting to walk it over, which felt pretty rude. How long is too long to hold onto a misdelivered item before it becomes a real ethical fail?

Ugh I did the same thing with a Christmas card last year lol. Two days is nothing, I let that thing sit for a week before I felt guilty enough to move.
